A candidate for our 194 community.

My name is Carly Anderson and I am honored to be running for Lakeville Area School Board in ISD 194. My husband and I are proud to send our children to Lakeville Area Public Schools and we are grateful for the amazing teachers and staff of our district. It would be my privilege to earn your vote so that I may represent the interests of your children and family, working with the school district we call home.

From each corner of our district’s boundaries – from Lakeville to Burnsville to Elko New Market and beyond – every student in our community should have what they need to be successful in our schools. I believe that our shared goal as a community should be to grow and support a school system that works for all, and one that addresses the unique needs of each child.

I am running because every child in our district deserves access to a high quality, equitable education. This campaign is focused on what matters most – our kids. If elected, I will work tirelessly to lift their voices and always put their needs first.

I truly believe that close collaboration between the district and families is the key to moving forward as a learning community around shared goals and values. I invite you to partner with me in this important work so that we may best serve every child in our community and support their future success.

We are better together, so let’s get to work!

“As a teacher, parent and tax payer, Carly checks all the boxes for me. She is unmatched at knowing what is really going on in the schools so she is in the best position to make fair judgements to move us to the next level of success. I am so excited for her professional expertise, already-demonstrated passion for equity and excellence in education, and commitment to kids to empower and energize teachers to do their best! We need her!!!!”

She is proud of our public schools and wants to serve on the Board for the right reasons— supporting us and working as our champion and partner— not out to undermine us.
