For those people, friends, family that have known me my heart has always been to help, serve & outreach to the Southside community thru many giveaways, Christmas toy drives, school supply drives, thanksgiving giveaways, mothers’ & fathers’ day celebrations, dia de la virgen rosarios, dia del niño celebrations, quinceneras, sweet 16s...no matter what the reason or celebration called for, my heart is to reach & help as many families as possible.

This year, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, it changed my outlook tremendously on life itself. Many doors were closed and limitations and restrictions were put in place; I was put in a place where I was unable to help families. During these times, many people, including myself, lost family members, homes, cars, jobs; struggling financially and emotionally, we were put in a position of desperation and I was almost at a point of giving up.

Many people like myself, reached out to our elected officials, city resources & local governing body, but many doors we shut in our faces, funds were disbursed to large companies, it was very selective on who got help.

Our current elected officials left us to fend of the daily struggle & hustle for our own families. It is for this main reason, that I have decided to go a step further and not just help families by giving them food or toys, but to give them hope;  hope for the small business owner, hope for the average familia on the southside, for the many mom & pop shops hanging by a string to survive.

I will devote myself to find those resources that are allocated for the district, for the small business and most of all for the families, our children, our future.

I will work hard, just as I always have to fix problems in our system, not just find excuses but solutions, and be accountable to our problems with poverty & public safety and not just judgmental of our neighbors. It’s time we put pride back in the Southside!!

I want people to not just drive by the Southside by to stop & invest, stop & become a homeowner, become a boss, build for tomorrow’s generation. It is time to stop diverting our funds allocated to us and pouring them into other districts, making the rich, richer & the poor, poorer. no, not on my watch. Let’s take the Southside back!!

Today I am pleading for your help, vote, dedication & to contribute to my campaign for San Antonio City Council District 3. This year has beat us to the ground, together let’s stand up in 2021 & take back what is ours.

Even if you don’t live in the district, support by putting a sign, contributing, or just spreading our message forward to help me continue helping others for many more years to come.
