We are a group of dedicated Democratic veterans committed to supporting other Veterans to serve the State of Illinois in elected office.
On January 6, a group of insurrectionists -- acting on behalf of Donald Trump and his Republican enablers -- attacked our capitol, assaulted police officers, and desecrated the American flag. The events of that day served as a reminder that our values, our security, and even our democracy are under attack not by a foreign enemy, but a domestic one.
A similar crisis of values confronts Illinois. State lawmakers accepted payoffs from ComEd to increase prices on Illinois families. Seven of the 50 Chicago council members that were serving just four years ago have since gone through the criminal justice system.
In these times, the men and women who served in our Armed Forces are called to serve again.
Currently, fewer veterans are serving in elected office than at any time in recent history. Illinois Veterans for Change is here to support you if you are a Democrat, a Veteran who proudly served our country, and would like to run for office or support other Veterans who have a desire to run for elected office.
Illinois Veterans for Change is a Political Action Committee that is currently raising funds to support other Democrat veterans in several critical races throughout the State of Illinois.
