Linda Robinson for MRH Board of Education

I am running as a candidate for the MRH School District Board of Education to continue to fight and make sure all students feel they are receiving the best education so that he/she/they needs to develop their full academic and social potential.

My goal is for MRH School District to ensure they are continuing to support educational equity and access for all students in the district. To acknowledge that family engagement is successful for the students and schools. It is important that MRH School District continues to utilize voices of parents, students, teachers, and community to build strong partnerships that will encourage and take the MRH students to the next level.

I feel these three approved questions when reviewing or making new policy, programs and other decision for the district will ensure we will continue to make right decision for our students, and it is inclusive to all: 

• Whom does this benefit?
• Does this differentially impact (racial and ethnic, gender, socio-economic, disabled) groups?
• What can be included to decrease or eliminate disparities?

Even though MRH School District have an excellent Board of Education and dedicated members, I know my work in the community and fighting for others to feel included because their voices are being heard by me, will enhance the board decisions on critical matters that are inclusive and the best outcomes for all students.

I am an Alumni of MRH School District along with other family members who had graduated between the years of 1984 through 2015. My granddaughter is currently attending MRH Middle School, and she was my inspiration to run. Even though running for a candidate has always been on my mind, now is the opportunity for me to step up and go for it!! 

 I graduated with the Class of 1987. In 2019, I was nominated as MRH Hall of Famer. That was a wonderful and heartfelt nomination for me. I am honored to be an Alumni of the MRH School District. I had wonderful teachers and administrative staff who guided and spoke wisdom into me to be great community leader.

Your vote is important to me! I am looking forward to serving the MRH School District and the students. Accountability, progression, and innovation are important to me and the community for the MRH students.
