Where I Come From.
I am a lifelong resident of Kingston, NH, and attended Bakie, Sanborn Middle, and Sanborn High Schools. Majoring in Biology, I graduated from Saint Anselm College and then continued my education at the New England College of Optometry in Boston. After receiving my Doctor of Optometry degree, I found my passion in teaching, and began teaching at the community college level.
Service.
My family has a history of military service, my grandfather and his siblings pooled their money after all serving in WWII to purchase our land in Kingston at the end of the war for my great-grandparents. During my senior year in high school, I joined the NH Army National Guard, and left for Basic Training in Fort Jackson South Carolina just a week and a half after graduation. I served with the 39th Army Band for twelve years.
