I'm a Public School Teacher that is running to help move Plantation forward so we can continue shaping a better future for our community. As Plantation changes, we need ideas and new leadership on the city council that represents and advocates on behalf of all of our residents.
I was born and raised in Broward County, Florida with having spent more than a decade in Plantation, I have attended and graduated from both Plantation Middle and Plantation High School. Professionally, I have graduated from the University of Central Florida earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with an emphasis in American Politics and Prelaw. I began my political career during undergrad as a Legislative Intern with Florida Senator Shevrin Jones of then, District 35. I’m a public servant at heart, and currently serving as an Educator within Broward County Public Schools teaching High School Criminal Justice. These experiences have given me a deep knowledge and understanding of how to successfully work with our local, state and federal leaders, while collaborating with neighborhood groups and community leaders.
At age 25, he would be the youngest person on the council and my young perspective would be that of the new generation of Plantation residents. I’m the best choice, bringing fresh ideas, a fresh perspective. If elected I would be the 1st Black-African American male to serve and the youngest person to have ever served on the Plantation City Council!
