To the esteemed residents of The Village of Tannersville -
It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as a candidate for the upcoming Village of Tannersville May-
oral Election. I humbly request your support and vote, as I aim to serve you, your families, and our beloved
community with utmost dedication and sincerity.
While some of you may know me, allow me to briefly introduce myself to those who may not. I was not born
and raised in this area, but my family and I have chosen Tannersville as our forever home. Five years ago, we
purchased a second home in Lanesville and during the pandemic, we decided to make the move and make
Tannersville our primary residence. Our love for this community grew stronger with each day, and we were
compelled to open our first restaurant, Tabla, and eventually purchased our home on South Main Street. Our
commitment to this community is unwavering, and we envision ourselves continuing to raise our family here
and contributing to the prosperity of our neighbors.
On March 21st, 2023, we have a unique opportunity to elect new leadership that is receptive to all voices and
viewpoints regarding our village. As a candidate, I bring fresh ideas to the table while remaining open to your
suggestions. I consider it a privilege to serve as a vehicle for your ideas and ensure that I do my best to bring
them to fruition. Tannersville has faced challenges in the past; recession, industry shifts, housing shortages,
and lack of career opportunities, but I firmly believe that we can leverage the current revitalization and
renaissance of the Catskills to bring new vitality to our village. Forward-thinking and a cooperative spirit can
couple the heritage of our long-time residents with the vision of our community's new additions while steer-
ing us all in the right direction and positioning the village for long-term success.
Open to all voices, I have heard some concerns regarding the length of my residence and my lack of govern-
mental experience. I firmly believe that my choice to call Tannersville my home is my greatest asset, as it

Open to all voices, I have heard some concerns regarding the length of my residence and my lack of govern-
mental experience. I firmly believe that my choice to call Tannersville my home is my greatest asset, as it
allows me to bring a fresh perspective and identify issues that may have been overlooked for far too long.
While I have only been a resident for a few years, I am dedicated to this community and committed to
making Tannersville my family's home for many years to come. As a successful entrepreneur, I deal daily with
accountability, delegation, personnel management, budgeting, advertising, and all aspects of business that are
directly relevant to municipal operations. I am not a politician and do not adhere to party lines, the issues of
our community are nonpartisan, so much so, that I represent both the Democrat and Republican Parties in
this campaign and am proud to be nominated with and share the ballot lines with longtime trustee David
Kashman and Tannersville native Dylan Legg; my only agenda is to see Tannersville thrive as a year-round,
four-season destination and a wonderful place to live. I pledge to work cohesively with neighboring municipalities, local civic and non-profit organizations, and all concerned citizens to find innovative ways to fund
projects that enhance the village without increasing taxes but rather by allocating village funds with greater
efficiency.
I am committed to serving the residents of Tannersville with utmost sincerity, dedication, and integrity. I look
forward to working cohesively with the Village Board, Clerk, Court, Highway Department and all members of
the municipal staff. I believe that together, we can make our village a shining beacon of progress, innovation,
and prosperity. Your support and vote would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely and at your disposal -
David Schneider for Mayor
