Casey on Anniversary of Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act Enactment: Infrastructure Law Is Making Pennsylvania Stronger, Healthier, and More Resilient

Pennsylvania has received more than $13.8 billion for more than 300 projects from law Washington, D.C. - Today, U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) released the following statement on the two year anniversary of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act being signed into law by President Biden:  “For decades, politicians in Washington have talked about the desperate need for federal investment in our Nation’s infrastructure. Two years ago, under the leadership of President Biden and Democrats in Congress, we finally got it done and passed the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Over those two years, billions of federal dollars have flowed into the infrastructure that sustains Pennsylvania, from our roads and bridges to our drinking water to our internet connections. Because of these generational investments, we are building a Commonwealth and a Nation that is stronger, healthier, and more resilient.” Since the infrastructure law was passed, more than $13.8 billion in federal funds has been allocated for more than 300 projects in Pennsylvania.
