I am excited to announce my candidacy for the Eau Claire County Board, marking my first venture into political service. Having called Eau Claire home since 2003, I have developed a deep love and appreciation for the community that has warmly embraced my family. As an employee at the university, and with my daughter attending a public elementary school, I have witnessed firsthand the diverse and dynamic qualities that make our county special. From enjoying the picturesque parks to exploring the scenic trails in all seasons, my family and I have thrived in this vibrant environment.
My decision to run for the County Board stems from a genuine commitment to ensuring that the issues that matter most to our residents--health, transportation, education, finances--are not only heard but also effectively addressed. Eau Claire County's unique blend of culture, education, and natural beauty deserves dedicated representation, and I am eager to contribute to this cause. By advocating for the concerns of our community, I aim to make a positive impact on the overall well-being of our county. I believe that through collaboration, transparency, and a steadfast dedication to the values that define us, we can foster an environment where both current and future residents can grow, prosper, and fully enjoy their lives here in Eau Claire County.
