I am happy to announce my election candidacy to remain Ceres Mayor. After sitting on the council for 2 years it's clear party politics and egos greatly effect Ceres. It's time for a change.
I have been a huge advocate for the community with strong values, ethics, empathy and education and want to bring my commitment to the community back by investing in our parks, public safety, reducing crime and improving people’s lives. Together, we can work TOGETHER towards a community of our dreams!
I am a proud mother of 4 children and 3 grandchildren. I have a Associates in Applied Science in Social Work & an Associates of Science in Humanities & Social Science from MJC. I also attended University of Phoenix where I received by Bachelors of Science in Organizational Management with a minor in Human Resources and received my Master’s in Business Management. I also have a Legal Assistant Certificate and Medical Assistant Certificate. I am also No Child Left Behind certified and a Inside Track Success Coach. I have worked in Agriculture, Logistics and Education, both Private and Public, elementary and college level. I am also a small party planning & rental business owner in Ceres.
I currently serve on Stanislaus County Economic Development Action Committee, Concerts in the Park and Ceres Christmas Tree Lane Committee. I also serve on several non-profit boards, both locally and nationally.
I am also a CSEA union member local 420.
