I am a long resident of Delaware County. Having lived in the Broomall area of Marple to most recent that of Morton Borough. I have a life lived in the light of politics from a younger age which involved speaking with the past Commissioners of Broomall and learning local government when I became an adult. I have worked on numerous campaigns in my adult life which spans from local to state and even federal. Most recent I am the elected Mayor of Morton Borough. I have loved the time I have had helping the community and watch it change and grow.
In this love I have seen some of the short-falls of our elected Council. The transparency of government is essential if we want our community and its people to feel safe. Over the years, that transparency has been clouded at times and things of recent have shown that the people's trust has been stretched thin. Morton deserves a legislative government which is looking to keep its peoples true bright and true like a brilliant jewel.
The contributions I receive will not only aid myself in my campaign in obtaining a chair at the table of Morton Council, but to aid others who are just as passionate as I am to want to see growth and stability in our borough. We will aid other candidates in the local area with funding to help them in their endeavors to aid their communities as well.
Morton Borough is a shinning, yet quiet, jewel on the southern Delco area. Its populace has such a rich history of as being one of the oldest boroughs in the county. As a resident I want that jewel to shine. The people need representation of the utmost caliber. They need to see that their local government is their for them, with their interests of community in mind.
