Nicole Renzulli, grew up in Cranston and has called the City home for a total of almost three decades.  She graduated from Cranston High School West in 2002, where she was an All-State runner and Honors student. She went on to pursue her Bachelor of Arts with a degree in English and a minor in Communications at Florida State University, where she was also a Division I athlete. Nicole began a career as an associate producer at a local news station in Tallahassee, before moving back to Cranston to be closer to her family. Going on to work at Rhode Island’s Office of the Health Insurance Commissioner as an Administrative Officer and later a Principal Planning and Program Specialist, Nicole quickly learned the ins and out of government, organizing communication at high levels and working closely with various State departments. Today, Nicole is a Track & Field and Cross-Country Coach at Western Hills Middle School and Cranston High School West, where she has found her calling: coaching and mentoring student-athletes.

Nicole is happily married to Cranston native Joseph Martins, and the dedicated mother of three children, Anthony, 11, and 4-year-old twins, Francesca and Jovanna. She is proud to work and raise her family in the same great City where she and her husband grew up. An active volunteer, Nicole is a Coach for the CLCF Panthers Cross-Country, Indoor, and Outdoor Track & Field teams, and serves on the non-profit’s Board as CLCF’s Director of Fundraising.  She is incredibly involved in her children’s education and has been an active member of Woodridge Elementary School’s PTO, serving as its Vice President for two years. Nicole has also spent years working closely in the community with Ward 4 Councilman Ed Brady, feeding and clothing the homeless through the RI Dream Center, collecting thousands of toys for Toys for Tots, and giving back to their high school as members of the Cranston West Alumni Association.
